The Breakbook

Actualmente estoy pensando en relanzar mi marca de artículos para bebés, aunque me sentía medio desanimada; principalmente, retomé el proyecto para poderme titular. Ese sentimiento cambió cuando me crucé con este libro en una tienda.  La portada llamó mi atención, ya que el logo o "swoosh" es tan icónico que no creo que haya ser humano en el mundo occidental y gran parte del oriental no identifique. Me acerqué y vi que era una autobiografía y la historia de la creación y crecimiento de una de las marcas de ropa deportiva más populares del mundo.  Por lo general no tengo mucho tiempo para leer por placer, pero ocasionalmente me quedaba despierta hasta muy tarde, solamente para saber como habían resuelto alguna crisis Phil Knight y sus "Buttface" o como podrían continuar funcionando, o simplemente si es que Pre ganará la carrera o no.  Es maravilloso leer como este apasionado de los deportes, logra cumplir su sueño de hacer de su pasión su empleo y de su empleo ...

When I was in Highschool I had to read this book for Literature. Back then I had very little knowledge about different political regimes specially those far away from home; I am from Mexico.  When I read this sarcastic, metaphoric book I laughed a lot without really understanding the deep message it contained and the impact it must have had in different countries when it was first published.  Now nearly ten years after I read it again and I enjoyed it even more, thanks to the political knowledge I've gained in my adult years.  For me is one of the most amusing ways to understand what happened in the Russian Revolution of 1917 where Stalin represented here by the leader pig came into power by giving an end to the empire by killing the Romanov family in the power who are represented by the landlords in the farm.  It shows out how the power can corrupt the most "honorable" intentions and the broken dreams of all those animals who wanted to get rid of the terrib...
